Chasing an ambitious growth target
Navigator Terminals have an ambitious objective to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. To achieve that goal, they need to grow into new energy markets while retaining relationships with their existing customers. That means putting sustainability at the forefront of everything they do.
They asked us to create a sustainability report that showed their strategic goals and progress. The report needed to be professional and communicate what they were doing to meet the UK’s sustainability goals, but they didn’t want just another conventional report.
Placing credentials front and centre
To learn more about the business, we set up a discovery workshop with Navigator’s sustainability working group. It was clear the business is making strides to being more sustainable and support the UK’s Net Zero ambitions. Here’s what we learnt:
1. They are using renewable energy and increased energy efficiencies to target net zero greenhouse gas emission by 2040
2. They report on health and safety, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, labour rights, modern slavery and their investments in the local community
3. They uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, report on tax transparency and have robust cyber security
Crafting an impactful report
We created the report in line with sustainability reporting frameworks. Alongside our data visualisation, we threaded a clear story throughout and were mindful to adopt Navigator’s tone of voice.
Our final touches of eye-catching graphics brought it all to life. The resulting report reflects Navigator’s bold strategy, positioning them as a leader in their industry.
